Inspired
by Baby Om, this class offers an opportunity to regain physical
strength, emotional health, and bond with your baby after birth.
Class
One
For babies 0-3 months
This class is for mom’s and babies 3-4 weeks after baby’s
birthday. The class is designed to help the post pregnancy body adapt
back into physical exercise. Incorporating
baby into your yoga practice allows the baby to be engaged by you during
practice. In addition, baby
receives valuable tummy time, massages, and begins to discover how his
hands and feet can help him become more mobile.
Class
Two
For babies 3-6 months
You and your
baby are becoming stronger. This
class will increase your energy and build your strength.
You will help your baby in increasing her strength in preparation
for crawling.
Class
Three
For babies 6-12 months
This class will be the culmination of Classes One and Two.
You now have the strength to sustain a full yoga class.
This class will prepare you to build on your yoga practice.
Your baby is more mobile now and will really enjoy climbing on
you during standing poses. She
will even be able to do yoga poses with you!
Baby is
crawling but not walking in this class.
If your baby begins to walk during this class, we will embrace
his milestone and all of the other babies can learn from him!
Cesarean
Section Births
Private Sessions are available, either at CNY Yoga Center or in
the privacy of your home. After
6 weeks, I can teach you how to customize your yoga practice to your
post cesarean section body. You
may join Class One after 12 weeks, as long as you are pain free.
Private
Sessions
Private Sessions are available either at CNY Yoga Center or in
the privacy of your home. Grab
a group of friends or enjoy the private session just you and your baby.
